The first 2021 Ford Bronco has sold for a cool $1.075 million at an auction over the weekend.

The Bronco is VIN 001 and is a premium First Edition model clad in a stunning color dubbed Lightning Blue. As a First Edition model, it includes the mechanical components of the Bronco Badlands and the interior of the Outer Banks. To put the $1.075 million price tag into perspective, a regular First Edition model starts at $57,410.

Of course, the individual who purchased the car didn’t spend seven figures just for the off-roader as the entire sales amount is being donated to two charities, namely the National Forest Foundation created to engage Americans into promoting the health and public enjoyment of national forests, and Outward Bound, an organization with programs designed to help students of all ages and circumstances.

“We helped raise millions of dollars through the sale of nine charity vehicles, which included a record number of VIN 001 and first production models ever offered at auction,” chairman and chief executive of Barrett-Jackson, Craig Jackson said in a statement. “We’re grateful to our partners at Cadillac, Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford and GMC chose to leverage the Barrett-Jackson stage and give collectors the opportunity to own a piece of history and also benefit critical organizations. I continue to be inspired by their commitment to supporting those who need our help the most.”

All 2021 Ford Bronco First Edition models are fitted with the available 2.7-liter turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder engine that’s coupled to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
