The long-awaited Cadillac CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing are finally coming on February 1st, 2021 and will be revealed in full during a livestream on Cadillac’s website and social media channels beginning at 7 PM EST.

There were already reports that Cadillac would be limiting preorders of the upcoming CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing to just 250 units each. But now, according to another report by GM Authority, early adopters of the Blackwing series might be getting more than just bragging rights.

According to GM Authority’s report, the 500 pre-order reservations (250 for each vehicle) will receive three exclusive items that subsequent buyers won’t get.

First, each of the 500 Blackwing buyers will get a certificate of authenticity to validate its low production numbers. While this might end up just being a piece of paper, documentation like that is expected to make the vehicles worth more in years to come.

Next is a session at the Cadillac V-Performance Academy at the Spring Mountain Resort in Nevada. This resort has six miles of circuit in numerous configurations, making it the perfect location for getting experience driving on track, no matter your skill level. The one-on-one instruction provided should benefit novice and seasoned drivers alike.

Just as a refresher, both models will feature some serious firepower, with the CT4-V Blackwing powered by a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 with 464 hp (470 PS / 346 kW) and 445 lb-ft (603 Nm) of torque, and the CT5-V Blackwing having a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 with 640 hp (649 PS / 477 kW) and 630 lb-ft (854 Nm) of torque. Both cars will be available with a six-speed manual transmission, and combined with that impressive power, they should be a blast to drive.

Lastly, these inaugural Blackwing buyers will be given a mysterious “gift.” Its not clear as to what it will be, but Cadillac previously gave CT6-V customers a poster and a scale model of the Blackwing V8 itself, and GM has given C8 Corvette buyers scale models of their cars.

These extras aren’t confirmed just yet, but we’ll likely find out for sure when the CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing models debut on February 1st.
