“The BMW Group product offer is reviewed and refined on an ongoing basis in order to reflect customer preferences”, the representative told us. “We can confirm the BMW models below (2-Series Coupe and Convertible diesel) are no longer on sale in the UK, and production of BMW X5 M50d, X6 M50d and X7 M50d for European markets has ended. Additionally, from 1 December, the MINI Countryman Cooper D will no longer be available to order in the UK.”

Meanwhile, the Cooper D version of the Countryman is still listed on the official website, from £26,455 ($35,298). The Countryman Cooper D’s 2.0-liter unit is compliant with the EU6 emission standard and puts out 150 PS (148 HP / 110 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque, between 1,750 and 2,500 rpm. It does the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 9.1 seconds and has a 208 km/h (129 mph) top speed. The average fuel consumption is rated at between 5.4 and 5.0 l/100 km (52.3-56.5 mpg UK / 43.6-47 mpg US), and the CO2 emissions stand at 142-130 g/km.
